JSE is running a marketing campaign! They are giving away R5000 "share portfolios". I said great. Please email me the share certificates etc. They refused. Then i said, Ok please drop it of at my work place? Again they refuse. Then Divan dropped the call. They were fishing for all my personal information all the time

Offered free JSE stock account with R5 000 prefunded but needed to come show me how to access and trade on my cell phone - they work with all the Cellphone companies in RSA - Vodcacom, MTN and Cell C. When probed for more info the person got irritated and insulted me and put the phone down.

A very rude and abrupt female, wanting to speak to the owner of my business. She would not say what the call was about and kept on fishing for my name. I kindly requested to not call me again, to which she responded "I will". Whilst I was blocking the number I received a couple of calls which I rejected.

Man phoned me speaking very quickly in Afrikaans. Asked him to speak in English. He asked for my husband's number as he claimed that there was a problem with a deposit. I queried further and he insisted he worked for the back and that my husband's accounts would be frozen at 4 pm today - I told him he was talking rubbish and he argued and I then told him it was utter rubbish and he put the phone down.

The same Pretoria based operation at it again! Enticing one with R5,000 worth of shares...long story short, they're fleecing some share-trading tutorials that will make you lots of money. They'll attempt to send rep to you...in the end you'll have your credit card debited for a few thousand, for a dubious product/service. Similar modus-operandi like the holiday-club/timeshare industry :-( (Why would they be working in a call centre, if they themselves can use their own 'magic' product to earn money?? Why do they always NEED YOUR MONEY? Why would a stranger do you a 'favour' by helping you to achieve your own financial success?...as if a stranger need to repay a favour to you. Avoid!

This pair of scammers, a male and a female, claim to offer R5000 worth of free shares and stated that the company name is Diverse Point. Refused to give their names. Low intelligence scammers. Claim to have been given my number by someone in a town where they allegedly did a "presentation". Had fun yanking their chains for 10 minutes before he hung up upon being asked his name.

Man speaks Afrikaans. Say you have been randomly chosen to win R5000 shares. Then gives phone to lady who asks for financial information. Like do you have a credit card, what is the limit, what is your experience of stock exchange, what work do you do. Say they work for a financial institution called National Direct. Set up an appointment for the next morning. Says her name is Lee-Anne. Both speaks Afrikaans. You cannot call them back. The number can not be called back. I called my financial advisor. There is no financial company called National Direct. They are most probably scammers. Do not make an appointment.

This is the second time they called me. I supposedly won R5000! (Again?) They wanted to come and meet me. Instead of sending them to the moon, as I normally would, I decided to send them to the moon - set up an appointment at a remote address. You waste my time, I will waste yours.

Total scammers. Same as other reviews re. been selected for a R5000 share portfolio. Want to meet with you but 1st question like what you do for a living, then what banking facilities you have - then you know. Then they ask what your credit card limits are. Im mean anyone that falls for these low-lifes are fools.
