I received a call from 012 944 6800 after I had requested a callback on the Telkom website. A consultant by the name Kolan called me and out of curiosity I wanted to make a follow-up with Telkom and they can't pick up my order. The worst part I've given this guy my banking details becuase I trusted him since I requested the callback from a trusted website which is Telkom.

I requested another callback and spoke to a lady by the name Sheriz and she said their company name is Startek. I asked her to ask the guy to call me back and indeed he did and told me that I should check in with Telkom after 48hours.

I received about 4 calls from this number today. I suspect they are working with a dialler which calls you directly but the agent who is suppose to speak to you is not in the mood to work. Then they kill the call. One of the call centre agent tricks. I use to train call centre agents.
