I canceled the call the first time. They called again a minute later. This time there was a voicemail message, but the message was mostly silence and then sounded like some people chatting in the background and the caller laughed at whatever was being said and then hung up

Consultant said I requested a call back which I did not, couldn't provide information on the FNB product that I am apparently interested in, when I advised that I don't require assistance with anything he promptly ended the call. No name given, got my surname wrong, and it most certainly didn't sound like a normal FNB call.

Person called my head office number in Gauteng, I am located at a branch in another town. Line apparently very bad and as I am not linked to our switchboard at head office could not transfer call to me. Person requested my contact details which my office is not allowed to give. As I am an existing FNB client they would have my direct contact details on their system therefore would not require to request personal contact details.
