Confirm FICA Details (Financial services) reported by Stefan FNB client
This is totally legit. To be safe, I called the FNB number on my statement (087 575 4727) and confirmed that 087 73057 99 and the SMS I received is safe. They put me through to that number, the FICA confirmation department. They asked for my ID number, my address, my previous or current employer. And that was it. Did not have to go into a branch or do anything else. They told me they have to confirm these details every 3 or 5 years or whenever the banking sector requires it. I recommend anyone who is still not sure, go to the FNB website and call a number from there and asked to be transferred to confirm your FICA details. Then you know you are safe.
