Advised they were calling from SARS but refused to provide any form of Identification, following up with SARS itself they advised it was "probably a scam" Call has caused havoc as we are still trying to determine if it is real or not but all actions by caller point towards a vishing scam

I too received a call from a lady saying she is from SARS debt collection department. Our company is outstanding PAYE and STI contributions according to her but she cant provide information if verification is not done. She provided her name and said she was phoning from the Bellville Branch but the number on my phone was 012 003 1608. She refused to give me her surname and provided a case number, which I will be authenticating with SARS. I asked for an email but she refused. All indications are there of a scam
