Says it's ABSA but call drops on answering (Robocall) reported by


Receiving missed calls and calls that are dropped on answering from this no. which is apparently ABSA bank. Cannot call the no. back as it "does not exist". I only have a third party credit card with ABSA bank and the third party generally deals with me directly so not sure why they would be calling me.

Poor background noise, stumbled over his lines. Claimed I opened account in Feb wanted to activate this account. I never opened an account then told him I am ending this call I never opened an account too much fraud online I will go to my Absa local branch.

Was not professional, didn't say hi, just breathed and then said this is Kissie from Absa. Your Opel Corsa has an account. Something something R350. I said my Corsa has an account? She said we don't have the account number at the moment, but there's... I cut her off with hysterical laughter, said I've never had an account with Absa, never owed money on my car and it's 20yrs old, and told her she's a scammer and to have a lovely day and hung up.
