The number that phoned me was actually 0114306556. They got my info from an unsuccessful Vodacom contract application that I made in Feb 2020 and offered me a Huawei Y9 prime with airtime. They seem to have gotten my ID number and bank details from that failed application from feb. I asked the caller if this was legit and he told me to phone Vodacom and they will confirm that they have a partnership with Afrizon, so I did just that after hanging up. The Afrizon guy said he will phone me back on Saturday so will find out if it's fake or not, hopefully not seeing as they already have my details.

Priviledge

This number rings and rings for ages, you need loads of airtime just to get them to answer. I did the same when i wanted to cancel my contract for a mecer wizard laptop and modem. Absolutely impossible to cancel any contract once they give you

A guy named Peter phoned me to tell that I have qualified for a contract deal with Vodacom and that I will be receiving 2 Huawei Y7 for R299 in 7 working days because they were on promotion. He didn't even ask for my personal details all he said was they have my info on their system. When I called the number back to let them know I'm not interested and how did they get hold of my private information, but the number did not go through.

Offered me a cell, laptop and router for 319 a month. Said i applied for a contract from vodacom few months ago so they dont need my details they have them. And i must just confirm my ID number. I stopped her in her tracks because she spoke waaay too fast. My guess is Vodacom sells our numbers to this company. But certainly does not sound legit to me.

Boni Dube phoned me on this number, and asked if I applied for a Vodacom Contract about 60 days ago. I said yes, and then she said no, I qualify now. Hahahahaha by the way. I was not interested in the Mobicell phones, so she offered me a LAPTOP with a phone for R319-00 pm. There is no way! Said she'll phone me back, in 2 minutes. Received a call that rang for 5 seconds, and when phoning that number, no response. If there are some more people experiencing the same thing, lets chat so that we can nail the guys for good ;-)
