Money offer if you open an account (Telemarketer) reported by 156.155.134.xxx

Two messages - first that I could qualify for a Premier Cheque Account prompting me to download MMS but with no indication from whom the message is. Second message 30 minutes later from +2782004809566. This time identified as FNB and offering me R2000 cash to switch to an FNB Premier Account.

I received a SMS from this number, the heading was in bold and underlined: FNB Gold Service Suite Message Size: 11kb New multimedia message. Receive? (Expire date: 14 Dec 11:07) Then there is a tab to select DOWNLOAD. FNB nor any other bank will ever send a message like that to you, instantly delete it off your phone as it is just another way of hacking your phone and stealing your personal information. Also make sure that you let others know about the new scam, so they can let their friends and family know.

I receive sms's in intervals of 5 minutes. Needless to say over 50 in just a couple of hours. It is ridiculous that companies are able to harass a person's privacy like this. PLEASE STOP!!!

Received about 12 sms/mms in 12 hours from the number with "Direct Axis" as title. Did not download due too security concerns. This is a ridiculous amount of unconsolidated message to receive in one day

This number is used to send MMS marketing from Wesbank or statements from e-Tshwane. Nothing malicious; just irritating. I assume it is a service provided by a third party, so other companies might also make use of it.
