Take you pick, bank scammers, debt scammers, insurance scammers, tax scammers and the list just goes on and on but the biggest nuisance business model that plaque South Africans daily is this irritating "Call Centres" popping up all over like mushrooms claiming to be the biggest job provider in SA. There are more than 1900 call centres with over 240,000 call agents pestering and irritating every phone owner in the country for R6000/month. The most unsatisfied and ungrateful job ever created by the money hungry call centre bosses, making these desperate call agents a complete nuisance and irritation to society. The worst part of all this irritating spam/scam calls is that the very cell phone providers like the Vodacom's MTN,'s Cell-C's that suppose to uphold the so-called joke of a POPI Act (The Protection of Personal Information Act) are the ones that is selling our cell phone numbers to these "Call Centres" for a nice big fat profit. Corruption disguised as a legal business. Happy to block this one for now until their new sim finds it way back my phone and I just block it again, around around the sick story goes. Happy blocking all!

Debt collecting, have called me at least 8 times in the last month, and I have told them I am not the person they are looking for yet they still keep calling. They want me to prove I am not the person they're looking for! What!? Why!? And most importantly, HOW?

This is a call center 02194304xx (the last two chiffres change) serving for some bank institutions. They call you to collect debts from you. I agree they must do their job and I really try to give the money back but so many calls is quite stressing me.
