On the first call the person was clearly chatting to someone in their proximity after which the call was dropped, then received another call with the person not even listening to my responses, after repeatedly asking who I was speaking to they said it was Chantelle from Broadband for Telkom Mobile. I have never had a Telkom account so no idea how they got my information.

I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are two facts: people do search for this number which can be seen from different similar pages, and there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Probably calling with different offers for different companies, but for sure some general call center. I recommend to block the whole 0121117xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?
