they called saying they were from standard bank and said they will give me the first 6 numbers of my ID and I need to complete it - which I thought suspect - Standard Bank would ask for the full number. And I know there is nothing wrong with my accounts. I told the lady I'm not comfortable I will go into the branch. She then called another 6 times on Saturday and 7 yesterday. Just spoke to standard bank fraud department. They have not been trying to call me. So this number was definitely trying to get my personal info

Lady said she was phoning from S/Bank credit card division and needed to discuss something about my account, but 1st must verify my identity, can I plse confirm my ID number. When I said I don't give my ID number over the phone she just hung-up.
