This number as per google links to a Restaurant branch closed many years ago (Baglious), but I got a call from someone claiming to be from Standard Bank and wanted to verify my personal details.

I exercised caution and phoned Standard Bank Fraud Hotline. I gave them the number 0117840105 to see if they recognised it then they said is not their number. I blocked my cards with STD Bank immediately. The guy that phoned was very convincing he tried to get my personal info by wanting to activate a service, but I had a feeling that something was wrong and told him is fine I will activate everything on my profile at the branch..... BE Extra Vigilant!!!!
