I signed up to make regular donations to Greenpeace on the 15th July 2021. On Monday 19th July, a man calls from this number explaining that the donation hasn't gone through, and offers to rectify this while on the phone. I asked him to call the following day. He called back on Tuesday 20th in the morning, as agreed. I answered all his questions but couldn't finalise the donation as I was out and couldn't get my bank details off my phone. He called back at 14.00 the same day, as agreed. I was driving so I couldn't answer. Called 9 times in 18 minutes. When I got home, I checked my bank account and the debit has been made since the 15th, no problem there. This is either a very pushy and unpleasant marketer working for Greenpeace, or a scam.

I must have clicked on a link somewhere, initially I received a silent call. Then They called back very adamant wanting my detail for a donation min R160pm, I refused and asked to be directed to a donations link on their web site, they got agitated and unpolite!

Green Peace on steroids (Telemarketer) reported by Ashley
I responded to an advert by Green Peace on the web, calling for volunteers. When they called all the caller wanted was money. These are clearly commission-earning individuals. So much for my joining groups to collect plastic out of the ocean, etc. And they simply don't give up! I have tried responding to get my name removed, but the number used doesn't receive calls.
