Pay deposit before seeing a vehicle (Scam call) reported by Mark
I was looking at buying a vehicle for my staff and these guys said they have a cheap vehicle. It is apparently bank reposessed vehicles. They want me to pay a deposit of half the value of the vehicle before they will keep it off the auctions. They want me to pay this amount before seeing the vehicle and they kept coming with an excuse that they need to load it to take it to the auction so they need the deposit right away. I said i would bring the deposit with me and they said no, they need an EFT right now else they will load the vehicle.
