I saved the number a while back as Telkom Nuisance Caller because someone keeps calling to offer Telkom products but doesn’t know anything about the products you have. So over the last 3 days I’ve been answering as “Telkom service Centre, joe May I assist you?” So the caller has been hanging up immediately without speaking.

They attempt to solicit information using scare tactics. (Scam call) reported by


Call centre consisting of low calibre individuals.Sorry to sound insulting but they cannot follow a line of questioning.Perhaps one should refer to criminally incompetant individuals as 'low calibre'. They play on fears that some irregularity may have crept in that resulted in potential credit bureau issue. However, in typical "fishing" style, they know nothing about you and if given the opportunity will extract vital info from you. This call followed one from a supposedly seperate company in Braamfontein(same area) a few days earlier. They both claim to be debt collectors or credit clearers. The first caller sent a threating sms about a sherrif of court. However, they too do not have your details and mention an unknown company that has been registered against your mobile number. That is not how company registrations work. Up to now they cant tell me my name. Terminate all such calls promptly these individuals are running a scam. Block them promptly and expect related calls because they follow a vindictive behaviour pattern. These individuals are hired hands doing the bidding of an organisation. We know our banks are involved in selling our info...
