Verification of an online purchase that I was in the process of making.

Standard Bank false number (Scam call) reported by Kyla
This number contacted my mother after she had made an international online purchase. They claimed to be the Standard Bank fraud department and asked for her personal information. When my mother refused they sent her an SMS for verification which she did not reply to. Neither the number called from nor the SMS number (0100039230) are Standard Bank numbers.

The man pretended he is from Standard Bank Fraud Department. (Scam call) reported by Koot
This man pretended he is from Standard Bank Fraud Department. He claimed that my Credit Card is placed on hold because of a fraudulent transaction to the value of R11 374. He requested me to log onto my Banking App, which I didn't. He then sent me a text message, requesting that I should call the number +27 108 242 090. I contacted the real fraud department at Standard Bank and told them what happened. They said that the number is not a number of the Fraud Department at Standard Bank and that the person who called is a fraudster.
