I've been getting these calls from 0104936633 daily, 2-3 times a day. Today I accidentally answered. I spoke to a lady whom says I have an ABSA account with a credit due. She confirmed all my details (ID, residential address, and my name, but she slipped up when she didn't give me my full registered name which underwent an amendment 2yrs ago). She proceeded to give me an account number, and her rudeness when I persistently interrupted her was another tip-off that she was as phony. I immediately called ABSA fraud Dept and reported the matter, and made special mention that I am NEVER opening an ABSA account due to brand preference, and to BLOCK any further applications unless a security question given by me is answered correctly.

I've been called by this number persistently for a while now sometimes it's 3 calls per day. I've never answered it until I was so annoyed I eventually answered. Won't be doing that again.

Called daily until I answered. Long winded sales pitch from FNB to sign up for expensive insurance :-( I tried to decline politely, but that got me nowhere, it just made the call centre agent more adamant to force something on me I DIDN'T NEED. They only get the message if you are rude.
