It was a lady who called me, and said something along the lines about did I know my portfolio had been accessed by a financial institution. I asked he what portfolio and by whom, and she said she could not give me that info at that moment. I told her if this is not a scam she is not making a lot of sense and she hung up the phone.

About the same today (8 November 2018) ... after their same spiel about "my portfolio has been accessed" I asked for the policy number or contract number for the supposed accessed portfolio and he hung up. Spoke in Afrikaans, knew my surname.

Called my number spoke in Afrikaans and asked to speak to my husband - when I said "No" and "who are you" - "you called my number" he dropped the call. He also knew my surname.............

Said they allocated me a share portfolio , couldn't catch the name so fast , I just blatantly said I'm not interested and killed the phone / dropped the call !Where do they get my information ? Breach of the POPI-act for sure cause I have NEVER dealt with anyone of them before. Get numerous of these calls , at least 3 a month ! My question - where did they get my contact details ????

Call centre. Agent says they are called Lucre. Claims I have a portfolio opened years ago. I have never accepted dealings with this company. I never heard of them before. Agent was **** and rude, I renounced the company and demanded to know where they got my info, breach of POPI Act, they dropped the call.
