"please confirm your banking details" Uh, no. You called me. I'm not giving you any of my personal information. "then you must go to your local bank branch" They couldn't tell me which my local bank branch was though. Was it a scam, I don't know for sure but if it wasn't then the call was incredibly unprofessional.

Claimed to be from African Credit Union (Scam call) reported by PaulD
He claimed to be from African Credit Union, and asked if I was aware I was being overcharged on my "installments". I said I was amazed that he knew this (since I don't have any installments). He said "great, lets proceed with an IT3 credit check" or something similar and wanted to proceed. I said "No, I don't think so, I haven't given any approval" and he dropped the call.
